Hello Students, this is where I retrieved the map base information from for our site: http://www.cityofboston.gov/bra/maps/maps.asp The site has a link to the Boston Atlas which allows a viewer to add different layers of information such as historic maps. Awesome Map collection. From the historic maps, you can see that the Mass Pike was the Boston and Albany Rail Line, and that the triangle of open space above the Pike and Boylston and our site was a building.
The topo maps are hard to decipher, I can't seem to orientate were our site is on them.
