Terry, I think that you should investigate the thickness of your edges. I think that you need to determine how open you want the view from Prospect St to the Cemetery and also from the Cemetery outwards. Otherwise I think the concept is coming along.
looks good! png is better for web graphic images (not pictures). How would you make the intertwine between the different materials (water, brick hedge)? in terms of design, in my personal opinion, it's better to have an either inside or outside situations instead of half inside half outside/two shapes crossing each other on the edges (the water with the brick) think about the small paths, their material and their angles.
