sorry to have missed last night, family issue i will explain later but this is my progress so far...i have created a panaroma of both Athol and Brentwood Street based on Google maps, I have a bubble diagram of proposed placement of playground scheme and 8 schemes of differant pieces and ground art to go with the overall concept of 'charlie and the chocolate factory', jean

good bubble diagram, sometimes it helps to take this diagram and try to make something completely different, in this way you will be able to check your diagram and to integrate ideas from both diagrams.
it's very important that you'll make sections or models for every one of your 8 pieces, this is the only way to know what kind of space you're creating.
also, start to think about ground heights, elevations of walls and design elements, plants, materials, shades and protected places for the winter, and how your design addresses the Thomas Gardener school with all its unique properties (most students with English as a second language...).
